Position Overview:
The Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC) is seeking dynamic and innovative professionals to contribute to its mission. This institution specializes in providing tuition-free academic and vocational training to underserved adults, equipping them with essential skills for further education and workforce entry.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction in the Pharmacy Technician program. This role involves:
1. Teaching a range of courses aimed at preparing students for careers as pharmacy technicians in various settings.
2. Creating an inclusive learning environment that addresses the diverse needs of students.
3. Offering classes during both daytime and evening hours.

Qualifications:
Required: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited pharmacy program and a current NYS Pharmacist license, along with at least one year of pharmacy experience; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with pharmacy technician certification and four years of experience. Candidates should also have at least one year of teaching or training experience, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.

Preferred: Experience in teaching adult learners and working with at-risk populations is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also beneficial.

Compensation:
The hourly compensation for this position is $82.57, with no additional benefits. This role is fully grant-funded.
