Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in importing and contract management, with 10-15 years of experience in establishing and improving processes to synergize Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Compliance Management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Supply Strategy
    • Deliver the lowest total cost
    • Reduce inventory levels
    • Maximize customer satisfaction through world-class service
  • Lead the Supply Team
    • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Demand Planning, Procurement, and Inbound Transportation teams
    • Execute best practices and measure performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Establish Performance Benchmarks
    • Work with suppliers through a scorecard system
    • Identify and integrate new alternative supply sources
  • Improve ROI with Freight Forward Service Vendors
    • Negotiate for better pricing and buying terms
  • Ensure Serviceability and Delivery Deadlines
    • Communicate inbound delivery receipts internally
  • Collaborate with Product Managers
    • Sourcing and life cycle management of 1,000's of SKUs
Requirements
  • Education and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, etc.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
