About the Role
The City and County of San Francisco is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Sheriff. As a key member of our law enforcement team, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and enforcing the law in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage individuals in San Francisco County Jails
- Provide law enforcement services at high-profile public locations
- Work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies to ensure public safety
Requirements
- Age: Must be at least 20 years old at the time of application and 21 years old at the time of appointment
- Judicial Record: Must not have been convicted of a felony, misdemeanor involving domestic violence, or restricted from employment with the City & County of San Francisco
- Driver License: Must possess and maintain a valid driver license at the time of appointment
- Education: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or a two-year or four-year degree from an accredited college or university
- Experience: One year of verifiable and satisfactory work experience, or one complete year of verifiable course work from an accredited college or university
