Position Summary: We are in search of a Senior Audit Analyst to conduct comprehensive invoice evaluations for a large-scale LNG project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business and project controls, with a solid understanding of industry standards applicable to invoice assessments. This role is crucial in ensuring that project outcomes are safe, cost-efficient, timely, and in alignment with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of safety within the workplace.
  • Provide analytical support to project teams and operational facilities, ensuring effective communication and coordination to achieve project objectives.
  • Review and interpret contracts and related documents for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Oversee specific segments of project invoicing and reporting for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the implementation of a three-way match during the invoicing process.
  • Conduct time versus clock analysis for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Evaluate contractor commitments to ensure accurate utilization of committed values and adjust as necessary.
  • Leverage standard analytics tools, including PowerBI, for data analysis.
  • Supervise Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely review and approval of invoices.
  • Apply industry standards in the review of labor, staffing plans, and equipment requirements.
  • Contribute to cost mitigation strategies through innovative problem-solving.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in business or cost management within major Oil & Gas Engineering and Construction projects, particularly in invoicing and accounts payable.
  • Experience in LNG Liquefaction or Combined Cycle Power Generation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other project-related software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to summarize and prioritize information efficiently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
