Customer Service Representative-Business Office

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Business Office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting delinquent accounts, establishing payment arrangements with patients, and ensuring timely payments.
Key Responsibilities- Collect delinquent accounts and establish payment arrangements with patients.
- Evaluate unpaid accounts and work with collection agencies as needed.
- Handle bankruptcy accounts and follow up with patients to ensure timely payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up payment arrangements and monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Work with self-paying accounts to establish payment plans and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and mail collection letters and review accounts on a scheduled basis.
- Record all transactions and correspondence on accounts.
- Notify collection agencies of payments received and prepare bad debt reports.
- Handle medical liens and patient financial applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
