Role Overview:
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that preventive maintenance operations run efficiently.
This role includes overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with the hotel's policies and procedures to achieve the highest standards of service and uniformity.

Key responsibilities include supervising the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment, inspecting engineering systems, and ensuring adherence to established standards.

Additionally, you will assist team members in enhancing their skills and support their career development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high ratings on audits conducted annually and monthly.
  • Overseeing the engineering team’s adherence to duty schedules.
  • Monitoring plant areas to ensure compliance with specifications during shifts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all equipment and machinery as per company standards.
  • Ensuring proper temperature control in cold storage and public areas.
  • Checking the functionality of fire detection and firefighting systems, transformers, and electrical systems.
  • Coordinating with other departments for regular equipment servicing and testing.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety measures and maintenance of firefighting equipment.
  • Supervising the operations of air-conditioning plants, boilers, and pumps.
  • Maintaining desired water levels in storage tanks.
  • Staying updated on technological advancements in surveillance and safety equipment.

Daily tasks will include following up on assignments related to hotel operations, guest comfort, and scheduled preventive maintenance.

You will be responsible for planning preventive maintenance and ensuring documentation is updated regularly to maintain operational efficiency.

Additionally, you will maintain discipline among the engineering staff and ensure the implementation of directives from management.

Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) for all equipment and scheduling will also be part of your duties.


Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
A solid understanding of computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.
You should possess the ability to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
Staying calm and courteous in various situations is crucial, as is the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
