POSITION SUMMARY

The Culinary Support Specialist plays a vital role in our kitchen team, gaining practical experience in food preparation within a bustling restaurant environment. This position involves learning essential kitchen skills, food safety protocols, and daily operational tasks. Responsibilities will be divided between preparation areas and cooking lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow health department regulations for food safety, including temperature control, product rotation, and sanitation practices.
  • Prepare a variety of food items, including breakfast staples like eggs, pancakes, and proteins, using grills, fryers, and stovetops.
  • Adhere to recipe guidelines and portion control, ensuring quality presentation of dishes.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels at cooking stations to facilitate smooth service.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized throughout the shift, conducting regular sanitation checks.
  • Assist in closing procedures and support team members in completing end-of-shift tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
