Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Breastfeeding Support Specialist to join our team at Comprehensive Community Action. As a key member of our WIC program, you will play a vital role in empowering new mothers to achieve their breastfeeding goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide breastfeeding education and support to WIC participants
- Conduct intake activities, including measuring height, weight, and hemoglobin measurements of children
- Enter data into computer systems and maintain accurate records
- Attend breastfeeding training classes and conferences
- Teach breastfeeding classes and lead support groups
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a clinical business office environment
