Job Title: Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Warrior, a trendy Asian-inspired lounge and rooftop in West Hollywood. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service in the dining room, ensuring that all guests receive prompt attention, have their orders prepared and served promptly, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using knowledge of menu items and preparation methods.
  • Manage tables effectively, ensuring timely service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Utilize salesmanship techniques to upsell and promote menu items.
  • Execute clear and concise verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Work scheduled food-running shifts as needed, ensuring efficient service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Practice and understand alcohol awareness, ensuring responsible service and compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, with the ability to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
