Job Description
The Rockridge Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network/PC Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and guidance on network infrastructure, system administration, and configuration management.

In this role, you will serve as the lead and/or specialist level in the Network/PC Analyst series. You will work under general supervision, overseeing the work of lower-level staff and performing complex assignments independently. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and identifying network issues, proposing fixes, installing patches and updates on networks, operating systems, servers, and related hardware, administering user accounts, groups, and permissions, and backing up and restoring network configurations and computer data.

You will work closely with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve user problems and identify user needs. Additionally, you will write system and user documentation, install, configure, and test applications, upgrades, and hardware (servers, workstations, etc.), prepare schedules and timetables for projects and systems maintenance, and prepare and/or review specifications, evaluate equipment and applications, and recommend implementation of new or upgraded software and hardware.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in computer networks, hardware, and/or software, including experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, scripting to automate routine tasks, security access procedures, and Intune Device Management. You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with networked systems, databases, PCs, and telecommunications equipment.

About the Role
This is a full-time position based in Oakland, CA, and requires a California Class C Driver License. The ideal candidate will be available for 24-hour on-call emergency assignments that may include weekends and be willing to travel to any worksite. In return, we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify network issues, propose fixes, and implement solutions
- Install, configure, and test applications, upgrades, and hardware (servers, workstations, etc.)
- Prepare schedules and timetables for projects and systems maintenance
- Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions, and backup and restore network configurations and computer data
- Write system and user documentation and communicate effectively with end-users

Requirements
- Equivalent to an associate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Four (4) years' experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues with computer hardware and software, two (2) years of which involved performing a variety of tasks in support of a network using Microsoft Windows workstations or two (2) years of professional experience administering and monitoring computer/network hardware and software
- Strong knowledge of computer networks, hardware, and/or software, including experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, scripting to automate routine tasks, security access procedures, and Intune Device Management
