Geospatial Enterprise Systems Service Offering Lead

The Geospatial Enterprise Systems Service Offering Lead will be responsible for driving the vision and solutions for 1898 & Co's spatial enterprise systems solution offerings.
This role will lead product planning and marketing, business development in the early stages of the offering, prioritizing product and service offering deliverables, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the engineering team to deliver winning client solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of our capabilities and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate how our technology solutions address customer pain points, capture critical win components from the customer, and drive the development of a winning proposal.
This role will be responsible for communicating how our existing offerings help the client meet its business objectives and provide consulting services related to technology solutions.
The Service Offering Lead will work with the 1898 & Co. technology consulting, marketing, and support personnel to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are attained, and the product and marketing efforts support Burns & McDonnell's overall strategy.
This role will also be responsible for defining the service strategy that delivers value in the market and grows services delivered, and increases market awareness of the service and 1898 & Co.
Current focus is on utilities with future growth into other industries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operations processes and technologies within the electric utility industry, and be able to develop solutions that lead to results with business impacts.
The role will also involve leading program estimating, planning, and budgeting efforts and being accountable for the program/project delivery execution.
The Service Offering Lead will be responsible for developing organizational relationships to enable others to identify opportunities and leverage organizational capabilities needed in project delivery.
The role will also involve leading the creation of key client proposals, working with technical teams to develop and define the project scope and technology to ensure successful project solutions are delivered.
The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and analytical skills, and be able to develop key service offerings, from concept to deployment, that align to industry-specific needs.
This role will also involve presenting and positioning service offerings internally and externally, and working with team to project resource requirements and growth.
The Service Offering Lead will be responsible for evaluating external partnerships, marketing, sales, and licensing opportunities, and developing and implementing sales tools and collateral.
The role will also involve leading presentations and demonstrations to customers, partners, and the organization, and developing and presenting sales briefings and training programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills, and be able to provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to the team, department, and practice.
This role will also involve mentoring and guiding less experienced staff, and being responsible for QA/QC process adherence, effective communication with other disciplines, and compliance with company and site safety policies.
The Service Offering Lead will be responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, environmental science, business, or related degree from an accredited program.
Minimum 8 years of related experience (3 or more years identifying and implementing solutions for broad technology systems is preferred).
Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise technology projects, preferably in a consulting capacity.
Demonstrated understanding of operations processes and technologies within the electric utility industry.
Demonstrated experience developing solutions that lead to results with business impacts.
Strong facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience leading and completing projects from business proposal through post-production support preferred.
Ability to filter and distill relevant information and convey business and technical concepts to a diverse client base and internal technical teams.
Excellent planning and analytical skills.
Broad knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to develop key service offerings, from concept to deployment, that align to industry-specific needs.
Product Management Experience is preferred.
