Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Serve as a liaison between clients and our veterinary team, providing clear and concise information about patient care and treatment options.
- Medical Record Management: Accurately update and maintain patient medical records, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
- Technical Support: Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments, utilizing your technical skills to provide high-quality patient care.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and alert management to any discrepancies.
- Phlebotomy and Laboratory Services: Perform phlebotomy, run in-house laboratory tests, and prepare outside laboratory samples as needed.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer medications to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Patient Restraint and Handling: Safely restrain and handle patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; RVT, LVT, or CVT certification preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a veterinary technician; strong technical skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive Compensation: $25-$31 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
