Conducts process innovation activities, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machinery and equipment operation.
Performs design evaluations that incorporate a meticulous perspective on the effects of specific dimensional accuracy and overall integrity of manufactured components.
Facilitates the adoption of manufacturing processes that necessitate the qualification and/or validation of new equipment or methodologies.
Collaborates with suppliers on technical challenges and new product launches.
Reviews designs and schematics during both development and production stages to ensure effective utilization of DFM/DFA/DFI, while working closely with Development/Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, QC/metrology, Programmers, and machinists to produce designs and drawings.
Establishes business processes, metrics, and tracking tools for the deliverables the department is accountable for.
Implements the Engineering Change Process and executes process updates and enhancement initiatives.
Adheres to the principles and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
Ensures compliance with relevant governmental laws, regulations, and standards, both domestically and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining awareness of compliance as it pertains to your role.
Represents the organization in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
Experience in a 21 CFR 820 and/or ISO 13485 regulated environment is advantageous.
Experience in the medical field and/or 3D printing is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong capability to compose procedures and reports.
Able to effectively influence others, build consensus, and foster support throughout the organization.
Demonstrated ability to implement, maintain, analyze, and respond to various production performance metrics and KPIs.
Demonstrated proficiency in Print Reading and GD&T, Statistical Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Gage/fixture design.
