About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our team at DaVita Kidney Care in Edgewater, New Jersey. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and dietitians, to ensure comprehensive care and address patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
