Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Recovery Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the selective extraction of disposed materials for a specific next use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Materials Handling: Identify and separate disposed materials in accordance with state regulations and company procedures.
- Quality Control: Inspect receptacles and accumulation areas to ensure requirements are met.
- Logistics and Supply Chain: Order new accumulation containers as required and initiate pickup requests when receptacles are at or near capacity.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintain a detailed log and report exceptions to supervisor and management.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of all equipment to ensure operational effectiveness and cleanliness.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure their needs are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the operations team to achieve company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Background in material handling and a working vehicle that is 20 years old or newer.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background and Certifications: No reckless driving or DUI charges within the last 5 years.
