About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team at Net2Source Inc. as a key member of our data engineering team. Key Responsibilities
  • Data Ingestion and Processing: Design and implement data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Cloud Native GCP, Python, and SQL.
  • Cloud Data Engineering: Develop and maintain machine learning and statistical models, extract, load, transform, clean, and validate data using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud DataProc, and Cloud Dataflow.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data teams, to efficiently use Google Cloud Platform to analyze data, build data models, and generate reports/visualizations.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of GCP services, including Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, and Data Fusion, as well as experience with Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
  • Business Acumen: Formulate business problems as technical data problems, ensuring key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in designing and building production data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Cloud Native GCP, Python, and SQL.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on GCP experience with a minimum of an end-to-end solution designed and implemented at production scale.
  • Strong understanding of GCP services, including Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, and Data Fusion.
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
