DiPietro Law LLC is a reputable estate planning, elder law, and estate and trust administration firm founded by Leslie Case DiPietro. We are seeking a licensed Associate Attorney to provide clients with comprehensive legal services for peace of mind throughout life's various transitions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with important legal matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting and communicating with clients to determine, advise, and solve complex legal issues in estate planning, elder law, adult guardianships, and estate and trust administration.
  • Drafting legal documents with careful attention to detail to address client needs.
  • Reviewing asset information and financial records to address holistic solutions to client problems.
  • Overseeing non-attorney staff assigned to assist with client matters with confidence and humility.
  • Effectively communicating with professional partners serving mutual clients.
  • Independently satisfying required deadlines to ensure timely filings with courts and agencies, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Building relationships with clients and their professional contacts with excellent communication and work product.
  • Complying with detailed work processes and procedures to ensure consistent services for every client.

Requirements:

  • Delaware bar admission is required; Maryland bar admission is desired.
  • 2 years of experience practicing in Delaware, preferably in estate planning, elder law, or estate and trust administration.
  • Superior customer service skills where clients feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
  • Personable, with the ability to interact well with clients, staff, and other attorneys.
  • Coachable with a desire to work independently when ready.
  • Team-oriented, with a healthy view that all team members are valuable, regardless of background or education level.
  • Willing to do any tasks needed to get the work done.
  • Willing to supervise legal assistants and take responsibility for the work of supervisees.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to function independently and be a team player.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Promote trust and respect among co-workers.
  • Maintain the highest levels of ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and File&ServeXpress.
  • Ability to learn new computer skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
