Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Regency. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination, phlebotomy, and injections, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist providers with entering medication, laboratory, and radiology orders, as well as scheduling diagnostic tests.
  • Provide patient and family education, ensuring adequate knowledge and awareness of treatment plans.
  • Perform telephone triage, determining patient needs and reporting to providers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to departmental policies and protocols.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • Successful completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • 6 months previous medical assistant experience preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
