Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonography Lab Supervisor to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our Non-Invasive Cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for managing and directing patient care services in our Echo/Stress Lab, interventional Echo, Vascular Lab, Cardiac nuclear Imaging, and EKG Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the organization, direction, management, and evaluation of patient care services in the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular areas.
  • Work with the Medical Director(s) of the Noninvasive Cardiovascular Lab, Director of Cardiovascular Services, and other physicians, managers, and staff to develop and maintain operations that support excellence in cardiovascular diagnostic services.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • ARDMS/RDCS credential with one of the following specialties: AE, FE, PE; or one CCI credential: RCS, RCCS; or have promoted up with years of experience and assigned a lead OR resource sonographer.
  • Knowledge of state, federal regulations, Joint Commission, infection control, and IAC standards.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement (CQI) methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served and must have excellent people skills.
Education and Credentials
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • NM Radiation Therapy Tech.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
  • Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist.
