Role Responsibilities:
As a Sales Specialist, your daily activities will include:
- Crafting and executing a sales strategy targeting specific accounts, industry sectors, and new client acquisitions.
- Engaging with a diverse range of customer profiles, from IT decision-makers to Data Scientists and ML Engineers, within existing and prospective HPE clients.
- Presenting HPE's unique offerings in high-performance computing (HPC) and AI solutions, alongside HPE GreenLake Platforms.
- Communicating HPE's insights on major trends such as Generative AI, Data Management, and Hybrid Cloud.
- Utilizing an advisory approach to influence customer decision-making and highlight HPE's distinct portfolio.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of HPE's AI-at-Scale offerings and articulating their value propositions effectively.
- Developing strategic pursuit plans and managing sales pipelines.
- Building and maintaining a consultative relationship with prospects, understanding their unique business needs.
- Driving the development of proposals, leading negotiations, and closing deals.
- Staying informed about competitors to strategically position HPE's solutions.
- Collaborating with internal and external experts to anticipate and address prospect needs.
- Focusing on proactive prospecting and pipeline generation for sustained success.
- Partnering with various teams to devise effective strategies.
- Meeting established sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree or equivalent.
- Proven ability to translate industry requirements into HPE's distinctive offerings.
- Extensive sales experience, particularly in Data Science and AI.
- A track record of successfully prospecting, developing, and closing complex sales in enterprise environments.
- A Challenger Sales mindset, leveraging customer insights to tailor approaches and foster constructive discussions.
- Resilience and determination in sales pursuits.
- Capability to engage in both technical and business dialogues at various organizational levels.
- A commitment to continuous learning about technology trends and competitive landscapes.
- Understanding of AI/ML and HPC roles and how HPE's solutions address specific industry challenges.
