About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join our team at ConcordRents. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing our HVAC support team, ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Supervise and train HVAC Lead Support Technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule HVAC support team members to conduct service calls and installations at our properties, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Order new equipment, parts, and materials as needed to maintain our properties' HVAC systems.
  • Training and Development: Assist in developing and conducting training programs for HVAC technicians, including EPA Certification, R-410A Certification, HVAC I, and HVAC II.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations and permitting requirements for new installations and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and HVAC/maintenance training applicable to the industry.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in HVAC troubleshooting, charging, and repairs, as well as experience managing at least two direct reports.
  • Certifications: EPA and R-410A Certifications, Class B FL state certification.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration recovery, rebuild procedures, mechanical codes, systems, and assemblies used in multi-family HVAC, and computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
