Job Summary

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Pediatric LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Pediatric LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and their families to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in medical records.
  • Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to provide care for patients in specific age ranges.
  • Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for providers.
  • Assist providers in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures and ancillary diagnostic examinations.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork.
  • Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
  • Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Default Issuing Body.
  • Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body.
