Job Summary

Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Pediatric LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Duties
  • Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and their families to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in medical records.
  • Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to provide care for patients in specific age ranges.
  • Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and provide basic medical data for providers.
  • Provide direct clinical care as directed by providers and assist in performance of minor surgical diagnostic procedures.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork.
  • Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a provider and per scope of practice.
  • Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases.
Requirements
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing
  • Minimum of 1 year-Nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Practical Nurse certification
