Job Description:

We are seeking an Assistant Professor to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Earth and Planetary Science, with expertise in one or more areas of research. This tenure-track position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the department's mission and shape the future of our field.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Earth and Planetary Science
  • Conduct original research and publish scholarly articles
  • Develop and mentor students through academic advising and research collaborations

Requirements:

  • PhD (or equivalent international degree) in Earth and Planetary Science or related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of research
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Benefits and Salary:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $145,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
