Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Hire Energy. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LPN to provide high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting health screenings, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare staff to develop individualized care plans.

About the Role:
The LPN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the physical and mental well-being of our inmate population. This role requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can navigate the unique challenges of healthcare delivery within a correctional setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a correctional or similar healthcare setting, but it is not required.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct health screenings, assessments, and triage for incoming inmates.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and document inmate medical histories and vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Educate and counsel inmates on health-related issues and self-care.

Requirements:
- Current and valid LPN license in the State of Texas.
- Prior experience in a correctional or similar healthcare setting preferred but not required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
