Position Summary:We are seeking a Project Manager in the St. Paul, MN area to support and augment our dynamic program team in the development and execution of plans, schedules, and budgets for large-scale construction programs. Qualified candidates must have experience in master planning, programming, design, estimating, scheduling, and developing complex facilities. The ability to thrive in politically challenging public projects is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the design of buildings and structures to ensure compliance with Design Guidelines and Sustainability Guidelines.
  • Prepare communication plans and various Project Management Plans.
  • Prepare RFPs, contracts, amendments, and miscellaneous correspondence for Owner signature.
  • Perform contract administration activities and prepare, review, and evaluate proposal requests, changes in work, contracts, and amendments.
  • Work closely with building occupants and owner's program manager to ensure compliance with the Space Program, design-intent, and adjacency relationships.
  • Assist in Project Close-out: Meetings, record documents, and training.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in master planning, programming, and developing and delivering large, complex facilities and large capital projects.
  • Experience on State and Local government projects is beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge of building systems and processes.
  • Construction management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Additional Skills: Design Skills, Site Development, Negotiation, Client Relationships, Project Management, Drafting, CAD, Conceptual Skills, Supervision, Innovation.
  • Special Software Needs: Microsoft Project and Publisher a plus.
