Qualifications: Minimum of 5 Years Experience
• EPA Certification Required
• Clean Driving Record

This role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems with precision, ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should be prepared to work in various weather conditions and outside of standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The HVAC Service Technician will be accountable for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems efficiently and to customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining and servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, including mechanical, duct, and piping systems.
  • Identifying potential maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
  • Performing cleaning, adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to emergency repair requests.
  • Preparing job sites and ensuring thorough clean-up.
  • Maintaining a tidy vehicle and work area.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and system specifications.
  • Demonstrating professionalism in interactions with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical plans.
  • Union Membership Preferred
  • Experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
  • Flexibility to work staggered schedules.
  • Physical capability to meet job demands.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Capability to climb ladders and navigate various physical tasks.
  • Endurance for walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and prolonged standing.
  • Ability to advise clients on potential issues and recommend upgrades for improved efficiency and indoor air quality.
  • Following supervisor instructions and completing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating effectively with others while also working independently.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure their satisfaction.
