Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and prevent incidents of theft, vandalism, and other security breaches. Monitor access points and ensure that all entry and exit procedures are followed.
  • Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergency situations, including managing disorderly conduct, assisting in evacuations, and responding to alarms. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
  • Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all incidents, ensuring that reports are clear and comprehensive. Prepare daily summaries of activities and any noteworthy occurrences.
  • Customer Assistance: Serve as a primary point of contact for security-related inquiries. Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring their safety and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Training and Education: Participate in safety drills and training sessions to enhance the overall security awareness of the facility. Provide educational resources to staff regarding safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Private Security Officer.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a security role.

Skills Required:

  • Strong observational skills and the ability to assess situations quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in documenting incidents and preparing reports.
