We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Route Specialist to join our team at Bernatello's Foods. As a Regional Sales Route Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our District Managers in running routes for the sales districts of Wisconsin. Your primary focus will be on effectively and efficiently selling, delivering, and servicing all customers on a conventional route, resulting in increased sales annually while establishing strong relationships with assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run relief and vacation routes for sales staff as deemed necessary by the Regional Manager.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in ensuring 100% execution of our sales strategy throughout the district.
  • Assist the Regional Manager in creating a positive work environment, establishing a highly motivated and dynamic sales team.
  • Provide valuable input and recommendations to the Regional Manager on all aspects of our business within the district.
  • Execute on any other duties assigned by the Regional Manager.
  • Operational Safety:
  • Utilize safe work practices as described in your handbook.
  • Understand and comply with applicable Federal, local, and state regulations.
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations, follow all accident and injury reporting procedures.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness, adhere to the preventative maintenance schedule, and vehicle service and repair guidelines.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, record inspections on the in-cab device or on a paper DVIR in the event of a device malfunction.
  • Practice proper cargo securement techniques using approved securement devices.
  • Ensure the accuracy of and certify hours of service on the in-cab ELD, edit and notate discrepancies or inaccuracies as soon as you are alerted to them.
  • Complete and submit accurate driver paperwork on time (trip reports, fuel purchases, etc.).
