About the Role

Dewberry is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Site Development team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of site development projects in the PA and NJ areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of civil engineering functions, including technical work and general duties.
  • Develop and implement site development designs using AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and other software.
  • Collaborate with Practice Leads and Management to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Prepare graphics, exhibits, site/civil construction plans, and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and county/agency review staff.
  • Compose technical reports, permit documents, and other written communication.
  • Handle multiple concurrent projects and work in a timely fashion to meet project requirements.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Civil Engineering.
  • PE license required.
  • 5-10 years of progressive design experience in site/civil development projects in the PA and/or NJ areas.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management Design techniques.
  • Supports Practice Leads and Management.
  • Meets project and client deadlines.
  • Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
