Job Overview:

The Foot & Ankle (F&A) Sales Representative will concentrate on enhancing and cultivating the F&A healthcare professional (HCP) customer network within a specified region.

This role requires achieving a high level of proficiency to present, demonstrate, and ensure the effective use of products. The individual should consistently seek new business avenues while supporting current accounts within our F&A product offerings.

As the primary champion for the product range in their territory, the F&A Sales Representative collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate the business strategy, targeting, and overall market approach related to F&A, ensuring the fulfillment of financial goals within their area.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the F&A product portfolio, including all new F&A offerings, and understand competitive alternatives
  • Drive the promotion of the F&A product line to prospective clients and identify opportunities to increase sales with existing customers
  • Educate and assist surgeons and hospital staff on the proper application of our F&A products
  • Build and maintain clinical relationships with key surgeons, clinicians, and evaluators
Case Management:
  • Maintain regular communication with surgeons/residents of all potential or newly acquired clients
  • Provide support to F&A surgeons/DPMs and operating room personnel during surgical procedures, as needed
  • Conduct F&A field visits for accounts and designated regions as required
  • Collaborate with Trauma partners to effectively grow and enhance the F&A business within specific areas
Inventory Oversight:

Ensure that sales equipment and promotional materials are well-maintained and utilized to support territory initiatives in accordance with company policies

  • Guarantee timely product delivery to surgical locations
  • Achieve Business Plan Objectives and sales targets through effective use of approved resources
  • Complete assigned administrative duties accurately and promptly
  • Issue precise invoices to clients for products
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with a minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience
  • 4 years of experience in F&A, Trauma, and/or Orthopedics or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military

Experience and Skills:

  • Adherence to all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the position
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times
  • Effective communication skills in technical environments and hospital settings
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen abilities
  • Self-motivated with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong focus on internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and within team structures
  • Hold a valid driver's license issued in the United States
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified territory
Attention to Detail:

Preferred:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales, account management, or related experience is preferred
  • Military experience will be considered

The potential salary range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.

The actual base salary offered may vary depending on various factors such as qualifications, experience, location, and schedule.

Along with base pay, incentive plans, bonuses, and a range of health and welfare benefits may be provided, depending on the position.
