About the Role

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Distribution Engineer to join our team. As a Distribution Engineer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering, design, and planning assessments for overhead and underground utility systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate system operations and develop project scopes
  • Design replacements in adherence to utility standards
  • Create accurate estimates and engineering drawings using various software tools
  • Coordinate right-of-way acquisitions and ensure project schedules and forecasts are adhered to
  • Regular site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
  • Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
  • Internship or utility experience
  • Proficiency in BlueBeam, AutoCAD, GIS software
  • Knowledge of ARMS, JETS/JETS scheduling tool, DETS, CYME, DISTGIS/ArcMap
  • Understanding of OH and UG fiber optic and telecommunication distribution
