Bose Professional is seeking a skilled Windchill Configuration Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the creation, release to manufacturing, and change management of product data.
Key Responsibilities:- Guide and support Product Development Teams on CM activities, ensuring accurate and complete data creation and extension.
- Attend Team Material meetings and report on the status of all BOMs, parts, and documents, facilitating the lifecycle progression and release of new data.
- Coordinate the initial release of new part/BOM/doc objects, reviewing for completeness and facilitating their progression through the Windchill+ environment.
- Work with Engineers to release BOMs/parts to manufacturing for planning, prototyping, production, and sales, managing data extension priorities per program build schedules.
- Notify customers upon completion of data extension, initiating Part/BOM Extension requests through Proto and intervening with businesses to resolve data issues.
- Review submitted Deviations and CN's for completeness, initiating CN Impact Analysis, managing CN approvals, and creating new Part/BOM/Documents.
- Audit BOMs extended to the plant via CN to ensure accuracy, providing Windchill+ task training and SAP reporting capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze and evaluate PDM business requirements of varying complexity.
- Ability to act independently, under general direction, to define, lead, implement, and document PDM system process changes in support of business process solutions.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles, including data and document integrity, accessibility, and audit policies.
- Strong knowledge of a PDM system (like Windchill+), with specific knowledge of life cycle management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
Works on complex global problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration preferred, or related discipline or equivalent experience, CMII Professional Certification and a minimum of 8 years related work experience.
