Job Overview:
We are in search of a Healthcare Engagement Specialist who is enthusiastic about fostering connections and collaboration between MSK and local physicians and medical practices in the surrounding areas.

In this position, you will utilize data analytics, referral trends, and audience segmentation to pinpoint key opportunities and devise strategies to enhance engagement with targeted groups.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Physician Engagement & Communication and collaborating closely with Senior Physician Liaisons and Associate Directors, you will develop a customized outreach strategy that highlights MSK's clinical strengths and unique offerings.
Role Responsibilities:


Analyze and interpret data (referral, demographic, market research) alongside MSK's clinical priorities to create targeted segmentation of key prospects, a territory strategy, and tailored messaging for the designated areas.

Formulate outreach strategies to strengthen relationships between MSK physicians and their community counterparts.


Conduct in-person meetings with selected physicians and practices to assess needs, address challenges, cultivate relationships, and ultimately enhance referral opportunities.


Organize speaking engagements, meetings, email initiatives, and other interactions between key referring physicians and MSK physicians to foster stronger connections and increase referrals.

Assist with campaign data segmentation, business intelligence, and decision support for the Physician Liaison team.

Develop outreach strategies for new MSK physicians establishing their practices in the area.

Build robust internal relationships with MSK clinicians.

Prepare reports summarizing field activities and track, measure, and evaluate the impact of the liaison program.

Identify and assist in the creation of content, materials, and research that will engage community physicians.

Essential Qualifications:
A degree in Marketing, Clinical, or a related field with 2-3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or marketing

1-2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous

Proficiency in database marketing and data analysis

Ability to deliver presentations and engage effectively with physician audiences.

Capability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and applications

Comfortable with communication tools, online professional networking platforms, and B2B engagement tools.

Core Competencies:
A natural curiosity and a desire to learn.

Willingness to take initiative and embrace new challenges.

Effective communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and implement strategies accordingly.

Strong project management and writing abilities.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, French, or Russian is preferred.
