Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of equipment, including hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes, and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.
  • Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
  • Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
  • Gather and remove litter.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper is preferred.
  • Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools.
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Willingness to work in all weather elements.
