Job Title: Sales Associate

M/I Homes is a leading homebuilder with a rich history of delivering exceptional new homes to customers across the country. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in our sales process, working closely with our New Home Sales Consultant to facilitate the acquisition of new home sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent M/I Homes professionally with a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills.
  • Support the New Home Sales Consultant in developing sales and marketing strategies to meet division goals.
  • Utilize selling skills acquired through company training programs to engage with customers and promote our homes.
  • Ensure timely and professional presentation of models and homesites, maintaining a high level of community integrity.
  • Register customers and input their information accurately, ensuring seamless communication throughout the sales process.
  • Assist in creating marketing plans and materials for customer outreach, leveraging your creativity and attention to detail.
  • Maintain community signage cleanliness and accuracy, ensuring a positive first impression for potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the New Home Sales Consultant in various sales and marketing activities, driving results and achieving goals.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and achieve goals with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and adaptability.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening, observation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-oriented approach, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other computer skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Associate degree preferred but not required, with equivalent training in sales and marketing.
  • Minimum one year of retail sales experience and/or training, with a proven track record of success.
  • Exhibits adaptability, creativity, resiliency, and self-motivation, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
