Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly qualified fire alarm technician to serve the designated area. The successful candidate should possess at least 5 years of experience in fire alarm programming, maintenance, and installation. Strong technical expertise and certifications with systems such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Bosch, Edwards, and Simplex are essential. A valid CA Blue card is required, and NICET certifications are advantageous. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including a traditional workweek or four 10-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain fire alarm systems in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Offer technical assistance to project teams and clients.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Conduct site evaluations to ensure adherence to local, state, and national regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair fire alarm systems as needed.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Engage in project discussions and offer technical advice to team members.


Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in fire alarm programming, maintenance, and installation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
