Production Support Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Associate to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Rocky Mount, NC. This role is part of the Advanced Functional Test System (AFT) launch team, responsible for setting up equipment, processes, and operations standards, resolving issues, and achieving ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure Safety: Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately to maintain a safe working environment and promote interdependence among colleagues.
• Promote Health: Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard to uphold health and safety standards, contributing to an injury-free workplace.
• Maintain Quality: Follow and help others apply standard work, policies, and procedures to minimize cost and quality exposures, ensuring high-quality output.
• Achieve Production Goals: Be fully proficient with all work processes and independently meet customer expectations to achieve production targets and maintain process performance.
• Environmental Responsibility: Recognize and minimize the negative impact of your work on the environment to contribute to sustainable manufacturing practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement activities and apply Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology to enhance quality, safety, and process efficiency.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
