TulaRay is seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team in the Sexual Responsibility and Treatment Program (SRTP). As a key member of our team, you will provide essential services to patients, including direct clinical contact, family/community agency contact, and social work consultation to other professional disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients, community agencies, and families about SRTP policies and procedures.
- Advocate for patient rights and provide support to ensure their needs are met.
- Develop and implement group programming for individuals with sex offending histories, focusing on community readiness, social skills building, and discharge planning.
- Complete monthly and annual reports, as well as supervise video visits and attend mandatory training programs.
- Participate in the treatment team process, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
- Assist patients with Sex Offender Assessment Board interviews and provide support to SW interns.
- Transport patients to court hearings when necessary and serve on committees as assigned.
- Bachelor of Social Work from an Accredited Social Work Program or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of assessment, treatment, and rehabilitative methods for individuals with sex offending histories and mental health issues.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including those with sex offending backgrounds and personality disorders.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
