Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in defense across various areas, including:
    • General liability
    • Premises liability
    • Automobile accidents
    • Workplace incidents
    • Product liability claims
    • Construction defect litigation
  • Mandatory insurance defense experience (applications without this will not be reviewed)
  • Excellent research and writing capabilities
  • Trial experience is essential
  • Experience in appellate work is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all elements of assigned cases, which include:
    • Discovery processes
    • Motion practices
    • Trial proceedings
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in a nurturing environment
  • Optionally, you may bring your own clients (ample work is available if not)

Billable Hours: Generally set at 2,000, negotiable to 1,850 based on the candidate.
Compensation: Ranges from $130k to $180k, plus bonuses.
Benefits: Includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with matching contributions; paid maternity and paternity leave, among other perks.
