About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Health. This leader will work closely with experts in machine learning to break new ground in healthcare and make personalized and empathetic care accessible, convenient, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver critical programs across multiple teams within Amazon Health and other non-Health customer teams, setting milestones to achieve program target dates.
  • Establish standup mechanisms to track and communicate progress towards delivery dates.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of leadership, representing complex decisions, trade-offs, and solutions in various forums.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks and conflicts that originate during program execution, partnering with PMs, Science, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Build relationships and manage by influence in a matrix organization to solve complex AI problems with tight timelines.
  • Define and execute Program Management best practices across the different ID science and engineering teams to help raise the bar on the execution of our team.
  • Manage a queue of customer-facing issues and feature requests to improve new functionalities at Health AI.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
