National Vision is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Optical Sales Manager. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving profit targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
  • Lead and motivate a team of opticians and sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the general manager and district manager to develop and implement store promotions and visual merchandising plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and policies, including optical licensing requirements.
  • Recruit, select, and retain high-caliber staff to support store operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors and other stakeholders to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in optical sales and management, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and achieving profit targets.
  • Supervising experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Optical license in states that require licensure.
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team of opticians and sales associates.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope, with a strong attention to detail.
  • ABO and NCLE certification is a plus.
