Job Summary: The Remote Nurse Reviewer plays a crucial role in supporting the development and coding of benefit plans. This position involves collaborating with a team of nurses, certified coders, and business analysts to ensure accurate coding and compliance with benefit plan language.

Key Tasks:
  • Review benefit plan language to determine appropriate codes
  • Evaluate peer coding decisions and provide input to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Facilitate discussions with team members to finalize coding documentation
  • Analyze audit results and make necessary adjustments to maintain coding accuracy

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant license
  • Registered Nurse with 5+ years of experience in healthcare
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in medical coding, including coding methodologies and processes

Benefits Package:
  • $32.25 - $47.25 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate)
