Nurse Program Manager

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Trauma Program as a Program Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping a positive work environment, promoting excellent nursing practice, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals. Your commitment to creating a healthy work environment and overseeing policies, procedures, budgeting, resource allocation, and performance improvement will be crucial in meeting departmental and organizational goals. Your role will involve creating a clear vision for nursing in your department, working with supervisors and staff on goals, building a proven work environment based on research, mentoring team members for growth in clinical and leadership roles, and keeping them updated on new protocols. You will also be responsible for staying current on clinical practices, leadership methods, research findings, and patient care models, planning quality improvements using evidence, managing research projects to grow skills, and creating a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff. You will be a model, teacher, and mentor in nursing, promoting leadership and accountability in practice. Your role will elevate our team within healthcare. To be successful in this role, you will need to be familiar with established nursing procedures and standards of patient care, have good communication and social skills, be able to think conceptually and critically, and have skills in mentoring and coordination.
