About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Trauma Program Manager. This role will play a critical part in shaping the work environment for healthcare teams, promoting excellent nursing practice, and fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a clear vision for nursing in the department and work with supervisors and staff to achieve goals.
  • Build a proven work environment based on research and mentor team members for growth in clinical and leadership roles.
  • Stay current on clinical practices, leadership methods, research findings, and patient care models, and plan quality improvements using evidence.
  • Manage research projects to grow skills and create a caring, safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Uphold high service standards and manage and set an example of excellence to ensure staff follows standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a nursing leadership role.
  • Registered nurse with advanced certifications in trauma care, such as ATCN, TNCC, or CCRN.
  • Ability to think conceptually and critically, and to train, inspire, and manage team members.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse spectrum of people.
