Overview of the SAP Consumption Manager Role:
We are in search of a seasoned SAP Consumption Manager to enhance and oversee our SAP system's effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in SAP, particularly in consumption planning, execution, and monitoring. This position necessitates strong leadership abilities to manage a team and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring optimal utilization of SAP resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer daily assistance to various teams, including Bonding, Assembly, Production Control, and Planning, to enhance consumption processes within SAP.
- Work collaboratively with Stockroom, Bonding, and Assembly personnel to provide training on SAP consumption procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP specialists, offering guidance and support.
- Encourage a cooperative and innovative team atmosphere to meet organizational objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into effective SAP consumption strategies.
- Monitor SAP error metrics and maintain a comprehensive work stoppage status, identifying resolution options.
- Assist in root cause analysis for Staging, Consumption, or Completion challenges.
- Oversee troubleshooting for Consumption errors and propose solutions to Production Control and Operations teams.
- Prepare status updates for management and contribute to special projects or presentations.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, accompanied by 5 years of experience in SAP management with an emphasis on consumption and performance. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of two years in a supervisory or progressive leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification or equivalent technical experience.
- Over 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Project management experience.
- Familiarity with financial processes and cost management within SAP.
