About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Medical Driver to join our team at MedSpeed. As a Lead Medical Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and other medical supplies to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) to transport medical supplies and equipment
  • Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle
  • Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules
  • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
  • Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction
  • Build and nurture a collaborative team culture
  • Help coordinate loading of trucks and assist management with policy implementation
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant industry/driving experience
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving history
  • Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
  • Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Certification
