Job Summary

Skyworks Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Principal IC Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing RF power amplifiers for wireless front-end module products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead PA IC development, understanding system requirements for performance trade-offs
  • Work with cross-functional teams for product development
  • Perform feasibility analysis/simulation for new product development
  • Design/simulate fully integrated power amplifier ICs, considering package effects
  • Manage design trade-offs on performance, risk, yield, testability, and cost
Requirements
  • BS with 9+ years of experience, MSEE/Ph.D. with 7+ years, or Ph.D. with 5+ years
  • Familiarity with amplifier modes (Class A, AB, B, C, F, F-1)
  • In-depth knowledge of PA bias circuit designs
  • RFIC/PA design experience using GaAs HBT, SiGe BiCMOS, GaN, or CMOS
  • Experience with IC layout tools and layout planning
