Job Title: Senior Administrative Associate

Compu-Vision Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Associate to provide complex and diverse administrative support to our Executive Director and Executive Committee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the schedule of the Executive Director, working with multiple staff and external contacts, including government officials, donors, and academic leadership.
  • Schedule diverse and complex appointments and meetings, prioritizing conflicting requests and checking with the Executive Director as needed.
  • Prepare itineraries for multiple constituents and prepare briefing documents for meetings and agendas for high-level meetings.
  • Coordinate the preparation for external speaking events with organizers and J-PAL faculty and/or staff involved in such events.
  • Schedule travel arrangements, including international travel, coordinating with travel agendas and booking hotels and transportation as needed.
Administrative Management for J-PAL Executive Committee:
  • Manage the scheduling of meetings, sending out requests for agenda items, clarifying agenda suggestions as needed, and drafting agendas for approval by the Executive Director.
  • Prepare EC meeting packets, including final agendas, discussion materials for review, and backup materials for faculty proposed for affiliate or invited researcher status.
  • Record meeting minutes and finalize for approval with the Executive Director.
Event Coordination:
  • Plan and coordinate visits by high-level MIT donors to J-PAL.
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international meetings and events at J-PAL.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5 years of experience in a professional work environment and relevant administrative support experience required.
  • Ability to write and speak fluently in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work on projects independently, and total reliability required.
  • Proven ability to handle several different projects/tasks at one time, successfully complete tasks assigned, and meet deadlines.
