Firefighter/Medic

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to fill the position of Firefighter/Medic. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services, fire suppression, and rescue operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Conduct patient assessments and provide basic and advanced life support care to stabilize patients prior to transport to a medical facility.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide fire suppression and rescue services as needed.
• Operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services EMT-P and/or a National Registry Paramedic required.
• Valid motor vehicle driver's license required.

Firefighters/Medics work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often in emergency situations. They may be exposed to hazardous materials, extreme temperatures, and physical demands of the job. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
